NEWS/EVENTS
Upcoming Event – December 2025
We are pleased to announce that our next social outing will take place this December, as our unit
attends an Ottawa Senators home game against the New Jersey Devils. If you have not already
received an email from us, please contact the Kingston–Ottawa Unit Executive Team or visit our

Thank you to all members for your continued support and engagement throughout the year.
Highlights From 2025
Our Kingston–Ottawa Unit organized a fantastic social event at the Canadian Tire Centre, bringing
together approximately 20 members for an evening of camaraderie and excitement. The unit
subsidized ticket costs, ensuring an enjoyable and accessible night for all participants. Thank you to
everyone who attended and made this event memorable!
Summer Golf Tournament Sponsorships
This past summer, our unit proudly supported multiple local golf tournaments. We were gold sponsors
of the Barley Classic, where our union’s logo was featured on a 4' × 4' sign at the first tee deck.
Proceeds from this event supported the Ronald McDonald House.
Additionally, we served as gold sponsors for a charity scramble benefiting SickKids Hospital,
contributing to essential medical care and research initiatives for children and families across Ontario.
Bikers Against Child Abuse Donation
Our unit also supported Bikers Against Child Abuse with a donation of $500, accompanied by strong
participation from our members. We encourage all members to continue looking for local causes to
support as we head into the new year.
Kingston–Ottawa Unit Golf Tournament – August 2025
We are thrilled to share that our August golf tournament was a tremendous success. Thanks to the
generosity and participation of our members, we raised a total of $2,880. These funds will be donated
directly to local Ganonoque food banks to help support families in our community. A huge thank you
to everyone who contributed, volunteered, or attended—your support makes a real impact.
