9th CUSW Convention and 25th Anniversary Celebration

Convention and the 25th Anniversary Celebration is rapidly approaching and now only weeks away.

All Delegates, Guests and Staff will be receiving an email with the details of their booking. It will include accomodation, activity, meal and daycare information. 

Delegates will also need to prepare by watching the Unit and Commitee Videos, posted in the Resources section to the right.

All Delegates and Guests are required to register. Check-in with the hotel first and then come to registeration during either time listed above.

The cost of member accommodation and meals during the Convention and Anniversary Celebration will be borne by the Canadian Union of Skilled Workers.

EXPENSE POLICY
The Expense Policy allows for lost wages (if applicable), mileage and/or reasonable travel expenses for the trip from the Member’s home/work location to the Convention and 25th Anniverasry Celebration and the return trip. No lost wage expenses will be accepted for travel outside the Convention days, except for pre-approved special circumstances.

Anyone attending the Fallswiew Indoor Waterpark is advised to bring your own towels. They are not provided at the waterpark.

CUSW Convention & 25th Anniversary Celebration 


The Ninth Convention of The Canadian Union of Skilled Workers is being held on April 27th and 28th, 2024 at the White Oaks Resort and Spa in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. January 16th, 2024 was the 25th Anniversary of our founding meeting. We will celebratate and recognize of our founding members:

The Convention is an opportunity for members to deliberate on the important business of building our future, while at the same time celebrating the progress that the Union is making toward providing a representative voice for our members both in the workplace and in our communities.
Families are welcome to join the Delegates for this fun-filled weekend!
