Convention Delegates Vote to Affiliate with the Confederation of Canadian Unions (CCU)

L to R: Joe Mulhall, Mike Belanger (CCU), Kelly Johnson (President, CCU), BIll Gilroy, Geoff Denstedt

We’re thrilled to announce our affiliation with the Confederation of Canadian Unions, Canada’s largest federation of independent labour unions.

In the CCU, we are affiliating with an organization closely aligned with our own values and beliefs. The CCU brings several decades worth of experience in the labour movement. Its expertise ranges from lobbying all levels of Government and supporting affiliates in labour disputes, to providing in-depth labour training for elected reps.

We are excited to embark on this next stage of CUSW’s growth and development with the CCU as a partner.
