2018 Convention Resolution Kits Available Now
Do you have something in mind that you think could improve our Union? The Convention is the perfect time for that!
Members are invited to submit a Resolution to the Constitution at the Convention in April. The Constitution is the structure that guides us on how we manage the opportunities that come with being a union. As members of the Union, we get to design how it will work.
Below is the Resolution Kit for you to download that explains in more detail the process as well as provides you with a Resolution form to complete and submit. Please note that all Resolution forms are due prior to the convention, on February 9th to be considered.
Here is what you will find in your kit:
- Resolution Introduction sheet: a brief outline of what resolutions are, what they mean at Convention and how you can submit yours.
- Convention Backgrounder: is intended to stimulate discussion and get members talking about how our union works for them. Take the time to read it.
- Blank Resolution: this is the form you'll fill out and return to the CUSW office for consideration by the National Constitution Committee.
- Resolution Guide: for help with filling out your Resolution.
